Kids' Days

An event designed as a school field trip destination to give students a first-hand opportunity to experience rural life as it was in Alberta in the early 20th century

Exhibits and Activities Include:

  • Grain Academy
  • A working blacksmith shop
  • Washing clothes with hand-powered washing machines
  • Threshing crew bunk house and cook car
  • A one-room school house
  • Antique tractors and farm equipment
  • Horses and horse-drawn wagons
  • Antique cars and trucks
  • Hand-operated water pumps
  • Rope making
  • Wagon rides
  • Farm animals
  • Crafts
  • And much much more…

To have your class attend, you must register ahead of time. Please send us an email or give us a call. Our curator will be happy to work with you to make all the arrangements.
